There are many nice careers in the world such as Teaching, Engineering, and Manufacturing etc. All of these jobs help us in our daily lives and we use many things that people make to help with our careers.
When I get older I think it would be a nice job to be a science teacher. When you are a teacher you have the opportunity to educate people in a way that will help them for the rest of their lives. You can teach them in many different ways and there are a lot of sub topics you have to teach. One topic is chemistry. Chemistry is combining elements to create some other kinds of chemical reactions. I think it would be a challenging job and also I think it would be nice to know that you helped someone in your life. When I was in 5th Grade I had a science teacher named Mr. Ritzi. Mr. Ritzi’s class was a hard class to pass thru. Many people say that the harder your teacher is on you, then the more you will learn in that class. When I was in language arts class in 5th Grade I had one of the hardest teachers in the school. She was very strict and gave you lots of work to do. I know that I learned more in that one year, than I did in my 3rd and 4th grade writing put together.
If you want to be a science teacher you first have to go to college to get your degree in science and teaching. I don’t think I would like to be a science teacher because science covers many topics that are very uninteresting to me. I think that if I was to be any kind of teacher I would be a writing or language arts teacher.
The average yearly salary is about $50,000. That is a lot of money and it is a pretty good amount for a few person families. Money is a very big issue for people around the world. Today many people are struggling to stay alive with the little money they do make. Many people are getting fired these days and it is very hard to support a family with no job and no money. Our economy is very different now than it was a long time ago. When my parents were kids you could buy a loaf of bread for 25 cents now a loaf of bread is about $4.00 a loaf.
I think being a science teacher has its ups and downs, but all in all teaching science could be fun and could help your students for the rest of their lives. I don’t think I want to be a science teacher because that is not my specialty but just because its not mine doesn’t mean it isn’t yours.
